All jane iredale® products contain state-of-the-art, active ingredients designed for each formula. We do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. All formulas are:

No Preservatives
Jane iredale® does not use preservatives in their powders because it uses the highest grade of minerals available. These minerals come already sterilized so there is no need to add preservatives. Active, certified organic botanicals such as pomegranate extract have been added to the powders for antioxidant protection. Where preservatives are needed in high water phase products, a variety of natural preservatives are utilized. Parabens or phenoxyethanol are not used. All of jane iredale® products have passed the Preservative Efficacy Test (Challenge Test). See more on this on the download from this page.

Matte Finish
The nature of high quality minerals is to interact with light, giving them their celebrated soft-focus effect. Jane iredale® uses a variety of matte powders that can be used as a finish. These matte powders are so effective that they are a favorite in the kits of many makeup artists working in HDTV.

Jane iredale® includes enough shades to satisfy the demands of 40 countries, including many ethnicities and skin shades.
